Adult Yoga, Art &
Movement Classes

Lolo’s started as a kid’s yoga studio. You asked and we listened - now we offer adult classes too!

Drop-in yoga for everybody, art with zero rules, a little dancing if you’re feeling it, and a moment in your day that asks nothing of you but to show up - whether you’re a parent or not.

Come with a friend or alone, leave lighter and with a sense of community and belonging.

Grown-ups need the exhale too.

A tree with green leaves and textured brown branches is shown against a peach-colored wall, with shadows of leaves cast on the wall.
A person practicing yoga on a blue mat, sitting on their heels with one arm wrapped around their bent knee, in a room with wooden floors.
A person painting on a palette with watercolor paints.

Same studio. Same idea.
Now it’s your turn.

You might already know what this place does for kids: it’s the time in their week when nobody’s grading them. No performance, no comparison.

Just room to breathe, move, make a mess, create something, and have some fun.

Here’s what we found out along the way - you need that too. Parents wanted Lolo’s for them too.

Now we are happy to invite you in.

A few times a month, the studio is all yours:

Some mornings it’s adult yoga that meets your body exactly where it is.

Some nights it’s a sound bath and a roomful of shoulders dropping in unison.

Some evenings it’s art, music, and people who didn’t know each other an hour ago, and walk away as new friends.

The one rule we built this whole place on still stands: you don’t have to be good at it. You just have to show up.

Move a little, make something, breathe out a deep exhale. No performance. That’s the good life.

Welcome to Lolo’s for Adults!

Two ways in. Pick the one that sounds like the hour you need - or try both:

Yoga + Movement

Move how you want to. Rest like you mean it.

If the last time you tried yoga you spent the whole class sure everyone was watching you - breathe easy. Our adult yoga built for everyone, perfectly balanced, nobody here is keeping score.

Come tired, come stiff, come overwhelmed, come having never once touched a mat. Leave restored and lifted.

Who shows up at Lolo’s

If you see yourself in any of these, you’re in the right place:

  • The parent who spends all week managing everyone else’s calm and has none left over for themselves.

  • The person who’s been meaning to “get back into yoga” but feels too rusty, too inflexible, or too intimidated by studios full of people who clearly do this regularly.

  • Anyone who assumed this was a kids-only place. It’s not - and you don’t need a kid here to belong.

  • Anyone who wants an easy, low-stakes room where it’s easy to talk to people while you’re all working on your own thing side by side.

  • The one who used to paint, or dance, or make things - and somewhere along the way decided they weren’t “creative” anymore. You still are. Promise.

  • And the grown-up who dropped their kid at camp, peeked inside, and thought: Wait, can I come too?

Yes. You can come too!

It’s a cozy space

Lolo’s is one house on Magazine Street in Uptown New Orleans. Things stay small, warm, and entirely unintimidating - the kind of place where the teacher knows your name by the second visit and you get to know the people around you.

You don’t need to bring a friend (though bring one if you want!). These rooms have a way of turning strangers into the people you look forward to seeing. Come to move, come to make, come to sit in good company - whoever you are, you belong here.

Welcome to the good life. We’ve got you.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is a special place

What an hour here actually does

Before you walk in

Wound a little too tight. Brain still running through the to-do list. Carrying tension you stop noticing because it never really switches off.

While you’re here

Permission to put all of it down. For one hour, nothing is required of you - no performing, no fixing, no being good at it. Just breathe, or paint, or move a little, and be in a room filled with others needing the same.

What you take with you

The loosened-shoulders, cleared brain fog, a sense of community, and maybe a couple new friends. And an important reminder of how powerful an hour can be towards creating more well being in your life.

Come find your exhale.

You spend your whole week showing up for everyone else. Come do one thing that’s just for you - move, make something, or simply breathe. We’ll handle the rest. Welcome to the good life!
