At Lolo’s we talk a lot about “grounding” - we talk about finding things, people, places, activities that help us to feel “grounded” - we use movement, yoga, breathwork, art to help kids learn to understand the feeling of being grounded - yep, even with our littles we develop and explore this concept - but what is grounding? Grounding is that feeling of being connected.

One way to feel that calming, mindful connection - baking.

Whether baking on our own or with friends or family, baking actually has many therapeutic qualities and can reduce stress. Baking touches most of our senses - touch, site, smell… And it’s a technique that can also make us aware of patience (it doesn’t always go as planned!).
